Hello Family and Friends!!
Well this has by far been the shortest yet best transfer. I am sad to say that I will be leaving the Idaho Falls stake and will be transferred to Ammon (bordering city to IF) as an Sister Training Leader there. I was NOT expecting this at all, but hey that’s how transfers go! At first.. not gonna lie.. I was pretty bummed. I am always really excited for transfers and change, but I was really sad when I found out I would be leaving this week. Serving in Ammon means that I will be out of the Visitors’ Center again temporarily and will be over a whole stake, rather than just a few wards.
After we found out about transfers last night, we were talking about how incredible this transfer has been and how many miracles we have seen in just these past few weeks. This week started off rough as far as going to visit people. We had a bunch of meetings (which were SUPER inspiring) and were serving a lot in the Visitor’s Center. Prior to this week, we felt that if put all our efforts into the Visitors’ Center that our proselyting area would be blessed. By the time Saturday rolled around, we had had a great week in the Visitors’ Center, but our proselyting area was lacking. We were getting pretty doubtful, but we still had hope that we would finish our weekend strong.
Well God didn’t let us down, Sunday was amazing! The whole day was filled with teaching lessons and meetings with church leaders. I don’t even know how it happened but we received 11 referrals and found 2 new investigators in one day (never happens). It was crazy! And this was on top of the success we had in the Visitors’ Center. So even when you feel doubtful, remember that God does keep his promises when we do our part.
Another exciting thing that happened was that we set a baptismal date with our old friend Lewie. I met Lewie back in February when I previously served in the Idaho Falls stake, and have been working with him ever since then (minus my one transfer in the IF Central Stake). It has been insane seeing the difference from February till now. I have been super thankful that I have had this opportunity! I’ve know that God prepares his children in his timing, and that we need to trust in him.
Like I said, I am going to miss the Idaho Falls stake a ton as well as Sister Coutinho, but I am grateful that I got to come back for this short time to work with so many people here. God knew I needed this. I have made several great friendships that I will forever be thankful for 🙂 If anything, I have learned this transfer how to work hard in unity with my companion and the members of the wards in the church.

and that is the truth!
